RE/MAX Performance was founded by Alex Baglioni in May 2011. Yep, we just
opened! Alex is the Broker/Owner, and has been with RE/MAX for over 10 years.

Alex first started working in real estate selling time shares. After six exhausting
months and no sales, he moved on to work for a real estate company doing
rentals only.

Rentals were easy, the only challenge was the poor compensation. On his first
(and last) year he outsold salesperson number two by 50% however, he only
made $75,000.00 which capped his income potential. It was time to move on.

He was recruited by RE/MAX About Town in Plantation. Without any real estate
sales experience, no training, and working alone, breaking into the real estate
sales market was painful and very difficult. But a winner never quits, and a
quitter never wins.

Learning with the Mike Ferry system, he managed to make $120,000.00 in his
first year in real estate. However, cold calling was a lot of work so he figured out
a way to make the phone ring instead of dialing out. The result: $312,000.00 in
gross commissions for his second year.

By year number three, and now having a few buyers agents, he managed to
achieve over $500,000.00 in gross commission income earning him the RE/MAX
Chairman award for the year 2002. Only five other agents received this award
that year.

He attributes the success to his attitude and the lead generation system. He did
not know much about real estate and yet, he managed to make sales and stand
out amongst the rest. For 2010, based on closed sales, Alex finished the year as
the number 1 RE/MAX agent for Broward County, and number 5 for southeast
Florida.

Throughout the years, Alex has worked for two other real estate companies
other than RE/MAX.  It didn't take long for him to realize, that even though some
of these companies were offering 100% commission, they didn't have the
RE/MAX name attached and his business was dropping. He quickly realized what
he had to do, and that was go back to RE/MAX.

After 12 years in real estate sales, tired of dealing with brokers who thought they
were above their agents, Alex wanted his independence and opened his own
company: Baglioni & Associates Realty. However, once again, he noticed his
sales declining and this time decided to open his own RE/MAX franchise:
RE/MAX Performance.

The philosophy he has today is that his agents are his clients, and that his clients
are above him, not the other way around. They are the reason the company
exists. As such, he believes it is his duty to help them make more sales, and help
them keep more money. Hence the programs and commission structure available.
